Metaphysical Miniatures for chamber ensemble (2003), ca. 8’

Metaphysical Miniatures were commissioned by Dinosaur Annex in 2003 for their Metaphysics and Magic program.  Like Lumina II+, these Miniatures were the result of working with tiny cells of material that get developed.  Each movement is derived from the same source materials with an effort made to create contrasting characters between movements.  Dinosaur Annex Ensemble is  performing the excerpts above, conducted by Scott Wheeler.
